Bush Tetras: Take the Fall 12" (Wharf Cat; Signed by all four members)

We loved these Downtown legends long before they became our neighbors!

Often tagged as a No Wave or post-punk band, those genres and groupings never quite fit the infectious, funky and whimsical sounds Bush Tetras offer.

Having recorded for some of the most legendary NYC labels of the early 1980s (ROIR and 99 Records, among many others), this 12” on Wharf Cat (also fantastic neighbors of ours) marks the Bush Tetras’ return. And it’s as if no time has passed, as the band remains fired up with all their legendary swagger and swing.

We’ve seen folks attending formal gatherings like The Kitchen’s 2018 gala/fundraiser stand up, well before the plates and glasses had even been cleared, and dance to Bush Tetras. Rattle that jewelry, folks.

From the one-sheet:

“THE BUSH TETRAS ARE BACK IN FULL FORCE WITH TAKE THE FALL, THEIR FIRST OFFERING OF NEW MUSIC IN OVER TEN YEARS AND PERHAPS THE MOST HARD-HITTING GROUP OF SONGS OF THEIR CAREER. *We have a limited supply of signed copies of this 12”. Grab it while you can.
