Various – No Core (No Core Records, Maxell C45, Cassette)
No Core Records remains a store favorite in terms of American hardcore imprints and scenes.
Based in Raleigh, North Carolina and issuing some of the most interesting releases in hardcore from 1984-1987 (Honor Role, Subculture, early Corrosion of Conformity), this is the first tape compilation in the No Core catalog.
Bands included on this compilation include: Color; No Labels; No Rock Stars; Corrosion of Conformity
Grading with caution, because of the tape's value and age.
Original owner, David Grubbs, stored carefully since the tape's release in 1982. J-card looks great.
Crisp edges and very slight discoloration from age.
Gray Maxell C45 (Korea) tape looks fantastic and, unlike other tapes from the era, more professional than the handwritten labels commonplace in that era, if that does/doesn’t matter to your collector sensibility.
No flyers with this copy, unfortunately
